San Marino. According to
CountryAAH, San Marino is one of the 17 worst-hit
countries where serviceable water is not enough for the
needs of society, due to the fact that, for example,
agriculture and industries use 80% of the country's
available water for one year. According to the World
Resources Institute, San Marino (and the other countries)
experience "extreme water stress".
The other countries are Bahrain, Botswana, Eritrea,
United Arab Emirates, India, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait,
Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and
Turkmenistan - some of these with significantly larger
crowds and more difficult problems than the small-country
country.
